About this site

More than the Apostle Paul, I can say that I am the chief of sinners (really really really). But I love God and I love the Bible. So I try to live my life with the constant realisation that God is PERMANENTLY with me (yes even when I sin). So I seek His presence in everything that I do (except when I sin) and in everything that happens. I simply hope to share this with others so that they too can believe it and then seek to live it.

Spiritually, I was raised Methodist, became a Pentacostal, then matured into a Baptist. I believe in the continuance of the gifts of the Spirit, only that it be exercised Biblically.

Professionally, I am currently a house husband (or male home executive). I use the morning part of the day to study part time (correspondence) for my degree in theology with BTC Randburg (Baptist Theological Callege), and then in the afternoons I look after the house and kids (yes, I cook and clean and wash the dishes and washing – I just don’t iron). I have been a few other things over the years, but that’s not important now.

Personally, I am and have been the husband of but one wife for the past 17 years to Anna-Marie, and the father to a wonderful 7 year old boy, Timothy. Dang, it is a busy job, but I am loving being able to serve them both now in being a stay at home dad.

Geographically, I live in Durban, South Africa and am a member of Glenwood Community Church (previously Bulwer Road Baptist Church).

As a family, we have chosen to live our lives in accordance with Joshua 24:15 (NIV) “… as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

May you be blessed as you read this blog.
